Default Making .PDF files downloadable from the website

I need to have certain .pdf documents (e.g., product data sheets, etc.) downloadable to the website user by clicking on a button. I cannot find anything about doing this in the Xara Help directory. I would really appreciate an example or step by step directions as to how to accomplish this.

I am using Xara Web Designer 6. Thanks!

    Hi,
I would suggest placing a 'Button' (your design), then in 'web properties' create a link Ie. "yourwebsite.com/pdf filename.pdf" in the url box, but if the visitor has acro reader installe it may just open the document in the browser and then he/she would have the option to save said documnet.

Add your descriptive text. Highlight the text and open the Links section, browse to the PDF file and select it. Click Apply.

When you export/publish your web page/site, Xara places a copy of the PDF file or files in the HTM_Files folder.
