Are you looking for a vector illustration program ... try XaraX at www.xara.com wher you can get a trial demo for 30 days

Or try Expressions2 from www.creaturehouse.com where you cn try that as a trial download too. this ne has some neat line capabilities

there's always corel draw ( www.corel.com ) but they don't offer a trial version (except that dumb slow runaware jaza online version as a test)
