    Default Text Gone odd looking

    Hi

I am using wd6 and was quite happily designing and they I copied some text from a word document and now in the desgin phase all my text looks broken up on the page.

This strange behaviour has had no effect on the published web site.

Any idea what I am doing wrong?

    Thanks

    Chris

    Welcome to TalkGraphics Chris

Can you post a screen capture of what you are seeing? Set your screen Zoom at 100%, press PrtScrn on your keyboard, then paste into WD6. Draw a rectangle over the area of the pasted screen capture, select both and press Ctrl 3 (Intersect Shapes). Export the image and post it here.

However if the text looks OK in your browser when the page is published maybe there is no reason to worry.

I wonder if copying and pasting from Word is bring some additional formatting codes which is causing the text to appear broken?

The strange thing is that all the text on the site has been affected.

    Kind regards

In fact it's not just the text - the whole web site looks as if it's been given a little squeeze

Looks like your View Quality may have slipped a notch. Go to Window > Quality and make sure it is set to High Quality or Very High Quality.

If this does not solve the problem, or even if it does, let us know.
