Xara Video Player & Transparency in Different Browsers

Hello,

I am finishing up a site and have been previewing it in IE 8 for a while now. I decided to see how it looks in Chrome or Opera and realized the Xara video player shows as a white box instead of the black box & text that shows from underneath in IE 8.

Are there any seetings in the player to nake sure it behaves well in all browsers?

Works fine in the latest Chrome beta 7 actually.

To fix it for the other browsers you need to add an attribute to the embed tag:

wmode="transparent"

Could I ask you opinion about the video page I listed? I want to show all of the videos but it ends up being a long page. Also, when you watch one then open another they will both be downloading which could drain the available bandwidth.

Do you have any reservations about the way it is layed out? I could go for a flash player with a scroll wheel Liek this page http://www.metroplexmultimedia.com/o.../our-work.html but I feel the individual acts would not get as much attention that way?
