I agree with Tim and Ed - I'm sure everyone can appreciate the skill and dedication that goes in to your work. The number of replies/views to a thread is not a measure of "success" of an image.
Sometimes people just like to lurk (I'm sure often people are distracted with other things, and just like drop-in and enjoy an image or two.) Often there is not so much to add to a thread - the things "you think of" has been said already.
I don't know about you - but I do my silly things for myself - if I enjoyed doing them - it was a success! If someone else gets even a little bit of "something" out of them - I consider it a bonus!
You have skills to go around - use them - enjoy them!
AND don't stop posting!
