    Default Humming Bird

    This little guy was a bit player in a flower illustration I did several months ago. I thought I'd make him the main subject in this one. Once again drawn in vector, colour blocked in vector, painted in raster.

    Amazing Graham. Did you draw from memory or do you have a reference image? Photographing humming birds is not an easy thing to accomplish.

    Bill, I used a reference pic for this one. We have quite a few of the little guys around the yard. I'd like to get some good pics of them but they're so darned fast. They're fearless little birds and very territorial.

    Fantastic work Gray, looks like a photograph, I love Hummingbirds, I have three feeders and love to watch them and photograph them.
