xdp6 One Area of a Site Needs CMS

    Hello everyone,

I have a website that I have created for a client and he needs the ability to update just one area of the site himself (Upcoming Events.) You can see the site here: Austin's Finest

Is there a known way that I can allow him to update just this one area (CMS, iframe, etc?)

    Any help would be appreciated.

I would go for a placeholder with iframe code pointing to a google doc

I think Sledger did a tutorial on this subject quite recently

That actually sounds like a great idea. I will try to find the tutorial if I can.

    Thank you

I figured it out, but I'm not sure exactly how the Google doc side will work. I'm assuming that if the client updates the one document each time and then republishes it, the changes should appear in the iframe on the website.

I believe this would also work with a Google Calendar.

This way they can update the Calendar and have it show on the page.

Thanks everyone. We now have the Google Docs and calendar up on the client's site. Now he can update his own events and all is good.
