I threw this image together, Its not as pretty as the Skins. Observe how the white semi transparent reflections suggest the illusion of glass over a background image, the light source is upper left as indicated by the sharp edged reflection on that side, the famous Priester Window reflection suggest curvature as well, all very transparent and subtle. Look carefully at those images you want to copy to see how the artist have placed reflections, hi-lites and shadows. then do the same with yours.
I used Vector software (Corel Xara) and Photoshop. Normaly I would use 3D software to render glass.
Nice effect Mike. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
Try these also if you will:
(they cover a wide gamut of glass & plastic effects)
