Thread: X-box ?

Inspired by the Xara CD packaging thread, I had a few things in mind. In between work the last few days, I came up with this. I wanted to get a "plastic" look to the material. I'll try another iteration of metal with a combination lock instead of a wing nut.

Well, fun's over, back to real work.

    Regards, Wayne

a beautiful illustration Wayne! Funky idea too! The drawing really illustrates how good xara can be as a tool for visualization.

    Great work!

    ... and deliciously well executed.

The design is brilliant - it deserves a real world application!

I'd be amazed to see what your "real work" looks like! It's a feast for the imagination to see such professionally executed divergent thinking.

For practical purposes, the only improvement I might suggest would be a transparent plastic addition to the case to protect the now exposed parts of the CD.

    Thanks for the feast.

I agree, not one thing wrong and very nice textures, colors, and depth.

This is superb work and I agree with Risto that this should be included in a real world application...like in a Xara book, on their site somewhere...etc...
