Ron,

That is absolutely beautiful. That is one of the best examples of real art done with a 3D program, that I have ever seen. I've been to many galleries and have seen many excellent pieces. This work shows the mark of what an artist can do with 3D.
The doily is wild! The jar is phenomenal! Man, the more I look, the more my head shakes as I reconcile the logistics and the planned end result.

Ok, OK, I'll stop

Wow, that is wonderful, I havent visited many 3D Galleries, because of my stinky 56k, but this is truly remarcable.

First I have to thank you all for the wonderful comments about the piece that I posted here. They are overwhelming.

Second, regarding making changes to the Still Life, it is possible to alter the image simply because it is done digitally. In fact, had I been commissioned to create Still Life 0031, and the client was not happy with the result, I would be obligated to make the changes needed to come up with a result that met their own vision and expectation. But, the 3D image that is posted here is a personal creation and I am not anymore willing to change it than a traditional artist might be who has done his work in oils or water color.

Yeah, it is a great stuff, as far as composition and materials and light are concerned. I would not use the bills, if you ask me..

But I think the bills look fine and were very well done. They'd leave too much empty space if they were not there that would have to be filled with something else

The image look great and would not be as good without the money.
