    Default Vector & Photo

Hello guys. I really surprised that working in Xara 5 or 6, most of yours using only vector tools, as if you are drawing in Xara 2,5 ))))
I decided to kick my brain and has found some new (hope ) drawing way. It`s not a masterpiece but just an example.
    This is what I suggest.
    1- Original photo
    2- Layer of light colors
    3- Layer of dark colors
4- The last one + transparent (use original photo)
    5- Result picture
    6- Lines

This is a one more example of using photo as a transparent source.

    Valery.

What you've done is brilliant and original and deserving of some real applause.

But, like some others, I don't know where you started and with what and how you got to the end result!

    Hi Valery

seems to me you are using bitmap transparency to enhance the texture of your flat colored drawing [book example] - two versions of the drawing: one light and one dark placed immediately above, and bitmap transparency [using the reference photograph] applied to the dark version

this is a neat trick - bitmap transparency is under-rated sometimes

and your second one is very nice indeed
