New Polygonal Modeler - Hexagon

Eovia (Carrara/Amapi)has announced the release of a new modeler - Hexagon. It appears to be quite versatile and probably in competition with Silo & Wings.

There's a special introductory price for Carrara owners for downloaded version (165MB including manual & QT movies)until 31 May.

Anybody who has had trouble coming to terms with their current modeler, Amapi, might like to have a look at the new addition. Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be a demo version available as yet.

Wow, and this was totaly another thread completely missed by yours truly...

My Take...

UI could still be more user config...
No Bridge Tool... biggy here
Awkward workflow
Although some improvements from Amapi, this Hexgon has a bit of growing to do before it will truly compete with what's already out there....
