No PDF Export option in Designer6

Hi Folks,
I find it strange that my new Designer Pro 6 does not have the PDF option in the Export dialog window. Has anyone else encountered this?
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program several times but to no avail.

Hi Roger, Welcome to TG.

The .dll has not been registered properly on your system.
Please remove and reinstall as Admin (right-click the installer and choose Run as Administrator).

If this too fails, make sure you have no registry protection utilities running.

You can register manually from the command box C: prompt (root directory) with regsrvr32, eg:

Regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Xara\Xara_Designer_Pro_6\Filters\PDFImportt\ PDFImport.dll"

Or if you are running a 64bit OS

Regsvr32 "C:\Program Files (x86)\Xara\Xara_Designer_Pro_6\Filters\PDFImport\P DFImport.dll"

Note: The Command box will need to be run as Admin.

Just do what Steve suggests, I know it is a pain, as there has been a few recorded events like this.
