Template Download crashes my machine?

I have purchased the Designer Pro upgrade, and registered the purchase to the Trial version. I followed the instructions, clicked Download Templates, and waited for the download.

It is a long download, but I have a fast connection at home, and it said about an hour, however, 2/3 of the way through the download, my machine crashed and rebooted.

I have tried this several times, and in 3 different locations using 3 different ISP's. The download speeds vary, but in every case, my Dell Vostro 1500 laptop simply reboots. On one occasion it locked up, and I had to do a hard reboot (which I do NOT like to do).

I know I can wait for the CD for the templates, but I am concerned as to what in the download could cause my machine to reboot. I have downloaded
things before, during and after these instances, without a problem.

Any ideas?

I cannot think of anything within the download that would crash your laptop.

The file is very large, over 300MB if I recall correctly.

How much free space is on your laptop hard drive?

EDIT: The Designer Pro Content file is 382MB.

I downloaded twice. The first time it said complete but clearly wasn't and generated an error. However, it didn't crash the machine, just generated an error. Win Vista 64
