Default Converting Type for Web Problem

I'm sure it's me, but I'm having a hard time with this. I'm using Xara Xtreme 5.1.2.10703. I setting type 20 pt, Arial Rounded. I extrude slightly, and convert to editable shape. It's beautiful in Xara, but when I export as a Gif or PNG (24 even) it looks like the dickens on the Website. I must be doing something wrong. Any suggestions out there. I'm using WebStudio 5 to put the site together, but when I load to the site and check it via Firefox it is still ragged. www.eclecticarbor.com
    Thanks, Giddyup

Make sure in the Export Options that you set the DPI to 75 or 96 for web display, it should look fine in a browser then. Hope that helps.

Can't help you with WebStudio 5, but with Xara export as PNG 'true color + alpha. rather than .gif (which your image on your site is)

I'd not advise anyone to use 75 dpi for anything. You'd be better sticking to 96 dpi.

This link may also help explain the problem with .gif files: http://www.xaraxone.com/webxealot/workbook23/page_1.htm
