    Question Scientific Equations

Does anyone know if it is possible in Xara to display scientific equations correctly?

If I Copy & Paste equations into Xara some of the symbols are displayed correctly but others are incorrect. I then have no way of correcting the incorrect symbols other than to physically draw them.... ouch

See attached JPEG to see what I mean.

The font must support the symbols for the pasted content.

    What font were you using?

You may need to use more than one font to achieve the correct equation.

As Steve and Bill have already said the font you use must contain the symbols you need. I note from your post you are copying and pasting the formula into Xara, that suggests that the font used in the application you are copying from displays them ok so why not note the font being used there and select the same font in Xara?

As has been said, you need the correct font. But using the the text tools such as "baseline shift" it is pretty easy to write equations.
