I wasn't going to comment about his ear, honest.
You are right it is different. (But very, very good). I would like to sit and watch you work.

gee randy i never thought of that one. i was actually trying for the more high minded van gogh severed ear symbolism... hehe but i guess the meaning got lost in the bad hair and little pink bandaid

You are obviously very adept at portraiture, could I twist your arm a bit and ask to see some of your more serious portraits? I used to draw portraits as well and I only have one which is scanned and reworked in PS but its not too bad I will post it if you like.

On another note anyone know when Painter 7 is going to be released and is it going to make a huge hole in our wallets as I have heard.

    Cheers

    Hi,

All I've heard is that Painter 7 is currently in the first phase of Beta testing and that most feedback on the possible upgrade price Corel tossed out in some survey phone calls to Painter users was that it was way too high.

I doubt that Corel will try to pull off such a high price for an upgrade.. but who knows? We can only hope that it's reasonable and affordable.

i have done a couple of portraits in the past. both were done on canvas with acrylic. so far i've yet to do a portrait using painter. maybe i'll try one, just need to find the right face to inspire me actually i met girl on the weekend that i would have loved to do a series of portrait studies with.

i've seen some of your posts in the other forums. ethereal spiritual imagry. you use photoshop mostly? do you have painter or are you thinking of getting into it?
