    Default a call for help

    Hey all,

I am a designer working on board an aircraft carrier currently floating around the deep blue sea. Due to the nature of bandwidth, I have great difficulty researching and or tracking specific imagery down on the net. ((hell, it took me a good 45 minutes just to get this forum account made))

I am looking for a vector graphic of a circle of hands. I've seen many variants of the design I have in mind over the years and can only assume that there are free versions of it floating about in the various archives. I was curious to know if anybody had one already, or knew the exact location of one in a free archive. This would save me and my guys an ungodly amount of time trying to make one ourselves ((which we don't have the manpower to do with all the other more important work we have)).

I'm trying to help the customer out on this as best I can but am at a major loss due to achingly slow internet speeds.

Do a Google search for "circle of hands" there are a ton of them. One nice one is at http://fc00.deviantart.com/fs14/f/20...eoffriends.png

Thanks for your service. I was on Ike in the 80s.

As for service, what did you do on the Ike? I'm on the Bush, our newest and not so rusty work of art. lol

You might be able to construct your own circle of hands from simple vector 'hands' drawings.
    Here's a few possibilities.

    Hand Vector Pack

    Palm Print Clipart

    Reach out Clipart

Which vector drawing software are you using?

we are using adobe illustrator, however, we do not have access to install anything onto the computer systems without lots of red tape (the joy of getting things done in the military).

I could start tracing what I have already (livetrace isn't doing it justice) but it will take forever to get it looking good. Alas we are all amateurs at best around here.

    Hi agR|Ppa,

    Welcome to Talkgraphics.

I was surprised and pleased when I saw you setting up an account yesterday (my time zone), when I saw your IP address. Not many active duty military members currently. Several of us are former members.

By circle of hands, what are you looking for? A few more details would help us help you.

Should the hands have the fingers pointing toward the center of the circle, away from the center, or along the circumference?

Should the hands be grasping the wrist of the next in line?
Should the hands be grasping the hand of an adjacent hand?

The image the first person to respond linked to was what I had in mind. The customer provided the attached image as an example.
