First animation blues

Ok I have decided I want to do an animation like this one (http://www.simplyaccounting.com/lp/q...yVideo_hm_0710)

So first stab, something simple. A transition like in the video demo. But I cannot even get that to work. Something really stupid for sure but I cannot see it.

Attached is the file, would appreciate some guidance.

Hey TimBox,

The bird animation can be done in Xara but I would not recommend it.
It would take a very long time. If however, you just want to capture that style of animation and plan on doing this sort of thing often. I would highly recommend Toon Boom

They have a variety of animation software options. I use Toon Boom Studio .. it is very easy to use.. I think the price is $300. They have a $100 program but i am not familiar with the features.

I use Xara and Toon Boom together for animations and edit in sony vegas.

My first issue is getting the animation in Xara to work. Now even the demos seem to work!
