    Default Super fire and chrome

Here's a piece I created today. It is based on many of the threads that BP has started and a couple of things that I ran into today about Superman. so here is my combination of Superman, fire and chrome.

    I hope everyone enjoys it.

Wow, thank you everyone. I greatly appreciate your comments. This forum has been getting stirred up by shiny things thanks to BP. He is the number one participant in shininess.

jvila, this one was relatively simple to do. On the main background I cut out the shape and put a red layer below and then shadowed. The centerpieces are the same shapes stacked with different colors. In addition, I shadowed using the sender piece to give depth. The flames are a bitmap fill behind the chrome letters with an additional clone of the bitmap fill using a bleach transparency. The chrome is created using the contour tool with bitmaps. I hope this answers your question. If you need any additional information all be more than happy to help.

Thank you again everyone for your comments. It feels good to receive recognition from people that I look up to. You guys are all phenomenal artist and I appreciate your work.
