this is a sunset I drew just to have some fun. I know the trees look a little funky, but I had fun doing it.

Hi Frances. Great job capturing the colors of the sky at sunset.

I have a question though. Is it just me or are there some semi-transparent lines in the sky just under the clouds that look something like lips?

Hi Eric, no you aren't imagining things there is indeed a smile in my sunset, the smile is a tribute to my father who died when I was a little girl. When ever I see a beautiful sunset I imagine him smiling at me.

Keeping it simple is often the best approach. If you had spent hours drawing every leaf it would have detracted from the sky, and the smile.

That is one great sunset Frances. I agree with Derek, anything more with the trees would take away from the sky. Nice job
