Partridge in a Pear Tree

Sitting reading the tutorial by Frances on the tasty Cherries, I thought I would give it a try, except with Pears. Some areas I didn't get quite right Oh! and I through in a Partridge

Those are very yummy looking pears! I like partridge too, only now you've got me humming Christmas songs in July!

Thank you Frances, I never knew there were so many varieties, I got a head ache trying to decide which ones to do The partridge feathers were a trifle frustrating, trying to get them to look like feathers. I think I came close

I’m don’t know if partridges ever sit in pear trees, except in that interminable Christmas song, but regardless of that it’s a good, decorative image that wouldn’t look out of place on a ??? card. What time of year do partridges sit in pear trees?
