pop up slide show problem

i have used 'photo frame rounder one' from photo objects for my holder for my images in the pop up slide show. Added one at a time to the same page then added each photo untill i have 5 photos (a small slide show)! then i selct all to make a soft group and web poperties > pop up image >to set the properties of the slide show with thumnails below. It works fab but also selects other pictures form the same web page that i do not want in the show how do i stop this please?

If you enable the slide show (with the list of thumbnails), all the images with the Highslide photo pop-up applied on the page will be used for the slide show.
This is current limitation of the WD/DP.
One possible workaround is to use the old photo pop-up with the images that should not be included in the slide show.
To do so, add the "NoHighSlide" name to the thumbnail image that has to use the old pop-up.

are there plans to stop this john with a 'bug' fix?

This is not a bug so no plans to fix it.
In future version new capabilities may be added but that's another question which can not be answered anyway.
