Hi there!
I was trying to draw portrait of russian famous singer Alla Pugacheva. My source of inspiration was a b/w frame from her old film "The woman, who sings", where she is young. Well, it's my first portrait, and it isn't like original

Best Wishes (and excuse me for my english )!

The image is very good for a first portrait. And very good for any portrait.

Is the rows of symbols in the middle part of the image? And if this is true, what are the small symbols?

The uploading error gives the image an added Pop type style! After reading Risto comments about your site I had a visit and agree with him, It's a site where you wish you could read Russian.
Loved the link re the Maggie Thatcher images.

Anna,

I like your work. Your skill conveys the emotion the lady feels for her songs.

Hello.
Excellent example of you skills. The textures, fills, lighting, and perspective are very good.
