    thank you derek

I see you have 'promoted' your skull to its own thread - well deserved

[BTW: ironically it wouldn't be the flies I would have to fend off here if I ate chicken outside, it would be... real live cats...]

Just another cover I am working on. Needs some work but this is the general concept. I don't care for the font I am using presently but will find something.

Very much a WIP but would love some comments. Haven't been around much lately, but thought the time had come to tackle a face. I've been doing this one in small doses for some time and have much enjoyed the challenge. It needs more work, especially shadows and highlights. It's from a pastel drawing left over from evening classes in my pre-computer days.

That's very nice Penny. Did you do that using the freehand tool?

Very nice drawing Penny. The facial features are well defined. The hair is very life like. It looks as if you have drawn each hair one by one.

    Hey all,

I have seen people create some absolutely stunning things with Xara Xtreme, I sometimes feel my stuff pales in comparison.

Anyway, I've recently updated some of my character sheets for various RPGs, all done up in Xara Xtreme and exported to PDF of easy download & printing.

I've also got the Gallery page working for the Spookybeans RPG site. For nearly all of the pics there, the line art at least was done in Xara Xtreme, then the resulting pic was colored in Paint Shop Pro, but some of them were also colored right in XX. There are a few pictures that the line art was just drawn on paper & scanned in, but I'm working on re-doing them in XDP6 now, to give the game art a more unified feel.
