Thumbs up This Is The Latest... WD6 Rocks!

It is still a work in progress (still have to add photos on several pages, and tweak the copy,) but I believe this to be a great example of what can be accomplished with WD6. The site owners wife has been gravely ill and the design process has slowed down because of it, but he wanted to get it up quickly and with as much as I could to begin the site.

Take a look (with the above shortcomings in mind,) and let me know your thoughts.

Pixelpusher, I am impressed. All that with WD6! How about the flash headers on the home page? How was that done?

Thank you very much. The Flash header was created in Flash. I own Flash Pro CS5 and the Flash header was my first use of that daunting program. I normally use CoffeeCup Flash Firestarter for most of my Flash design, but I decided that as a web designer, I need to know Flash, so I opened it up and gave it a go. The only downside to using Flash at this point is that any site that has Flash, the content will not show up in Apple products (iPhone, iPad,) so I would prefer to find a workaround, just haven't figured it out yet. I've been thinking of trying to create some type of JavaScript that would do the same basic thing (fade pictures in and out in a 1000px x 200px header.)

I've looked at my sites that contain Flash on Apple devices and there is just a big black spot where the Flash should be... very frustrating.

If anyone has a better idea, I would love to hear it.

    Hello,
Very nice site, I really like it.
About flash, you could do it very easy in xara xtreme, first create your flash creating an animation and then place it over a place holder.
There are a lot of movies and tutorials about creating flash in xara, here there are some of them.

    I hope it is useful.
    Best regards

I've met with the client and have added photos where he wanted them and tweaked the Flash header to load faster. The client says that he is happy and ready to call it finished.
