Strange brush colors in Designer Pro 6

I tried several brushes but the colors are wrong when the brush is applied. Also brushes made in previous versions don't look right in Designer Pro.
Is this a bug?

I want to upgrade to 6 but the brush function has to work properly.

in version 6 the brush engine has been rewritten

it is quite possible therefore that some brushes made in previous versions may not work the same

as for the colors - in what way are they wrong?

Hello Joto, I am still using the trial of Designer Pro, and the brushes seem to work fine for me. Are you using a pen tablet? If so you should be able to change the brush colours by "tapping" a colour on the colourline

(For those who don't use a tablet and don't know what I mean by tapping, when you lightly tap your pen on your tablet it works like clicking the mouse. So if your cursor is over a colour on the colourline when you tap it becomes selected.)

Joto, perhaps if you could post a .xar file that shows the problem someone can have a look and help.

The default setting for brushes has changed in 6 - the default used to be no brush colours it is now named brush colours - change the setting back and save the brush and all should be well.
