Unhappy Xara Designer 6 Blend bug

    Hi

Just downloaded X6 and to my surprise I found a rendering bug, where gfx in 3.2 just do not look the same in 6. In 3.2 it appears smooth and wonderful, whereas in 6 it appears blocky and just not right.

In the screen attached it is the green background that is displaying the problem. This background is made of 2 components that are blended together:

1 A curve made of a custom transparent brush which contains a transparent square
2 A transparent green background with gradiated shading from green to black.

The curve is then blended together with the backdrops over 5 steps to achieve a nice clean look - at least in 3.2

Come on you programming whizzes. Can you please fix this, before I buy

If you need any help reproducing or a sample file then please let me know.

    Thanks

    Nalin

    Hi Nalin,

Please post a sample XAR file so we can investigate the problem.

    Thanks, Phil

    Nalin,

The rendering quality (slider next to the zoom percentage) on the left image is less than on the right image. Does it help if you set it to max?
