As everyone probably knows by now, I prefer the original light grey interface. I find it brighter, easier on my eyes with less strain and it, therefore, provides me with a less tiring workspace. I have actually fallen asleep on my desk three times while using the new dark grey interface. I just paused to rest my eyes for a few minutes and each time woke up several hours later. I don't recall ever falling asleep like that with the original interface color. After trying to use the font selector and having more difficulty looking through the fonts than I used to was the last straw. I finally gave up on the new, low contrast, dark grey interface and reverted back to the original light grey interface for good (or as long as it lasts).

So +100 for me for retaining the ability to switch back to the light grey interface and icon set in future releases.

FWIW, the number of actual MAGIX software titles I own and use is zero (0). The versions of XARA software I own and use are Xtreme 3.2, Xtreme Pro 3.2, Xtreme Pro 4, Xtreme Pro 5, & 3D 6. Yes, I know MAGIX acquired Xara a few years ago but, until now, you wouldn't have really known it.

    A usually happy Xara customer,
    Harry

Harry, my advice, as someone who was in his 20s in the 60s, is to lay off those drugs. Or to not have that first cocktail until after 5:00 PM (your time, I know it is always 5:00 PM somewhere in the world. )

    Bill, Derek,

Thank you, I knew that; just had a 'senior moment' .
I use it often; it just didn't register. It's a very lite/bright interface.
