The new site has just vanished before my very eyes, and it's back to the old one. I swear the new site was there !
I'm sure it will be back soon. It will be worth the wait

You're not imagining things, we do have a completly new site. It's gone live this morning, though you might find it coming and going for a few hours. This is a preliminary to posting the trial download of Xara X which will hopefully happen (I have everything crossed and I'm touching all the wood in reach) within the next 2/3 days...

The new website is back at 3:30 London time !
(That would be 10:30 a.m. in New York or 7:30 a.m. in LA).
As Daniel said, it's much better than before (not that this would have been hard ).
Still there is no info but "available very soon".
anyway, the price for the upgrade - USD 69,-- seems more than OK for me.
I guess we xarans deserve it like that ..

Xara will be providing us with the trial versions and final products very soon and you'll be able to download these from the i/us site. If you're a subscriber to the XaraXone News, you'll be informed the minute we make these available.

It's pretty impressive they way those folks at Xara make their new website appear and disappear isn't it?
Rumour has it that Corel have just bought Xara back again which is why it's been taken off - they're having to put the Corel logo back in...(only joking!)

A reply from Edward at Xara as to why some are seeing the new site and others aren't:
Phil - unfortunately we have been having problems with a secondary DNS server which seems to be pointing to the old Xara site, even though it's been told to point to the new one. Apologies for the problems, but it should be working smoothly by tomorrow - it has to be that long because making changes to a DNS server takes time to impact on all the ISP servers all over the world.
