Got an idea...it's not a GREAT idea, but here goes...

Howsabout if everyone downloads my paintcan.dxf file, and see who can be the most creative in its use?

1.)Pouring an American flag.
2.)Painting a hole (so Sgt. Pepper can fix it)
3.)Modeling a ladder and perching it on it.

Listen, all the pieces are separate, so you might only want to use the brush or the can.

Does this sound accessible to as many people as I hope?

...a paint can doesn't really inspire much of anything in me.

You have any other types of props we could use instead Gary? Something a little more versitile perhaps?

The "resourcefullness" concept is fine with me. (similar to what i was thinking anyway)

Mark--

An object has no intrinsic resourcefulness. It is the ARTIST, you know?

So why not let's take my paintcan DXF out for a spin and see how artistic/inventive you can be with parts or all of it. You know, you could totally disassemble the paintcan and reconfigure it, and that would be a legit entry. So would squashing or extending it along the X, Y, Z or all, and that too would be silly, but legit.

I'm more convinced now than before that resourcefulness is a component of a great artist's talent, and it, too, needs regular flexing.
