Too often people only want something created for them for free rather than wanting to learn how to create it for themselves.

Past history has shown that to be the case and if that person receives the efforts of someone else's efforts, it leads to more people wanting free work.

The purpose of these forums is to help people learn to use the programs represented by the various forums. Providing free artwork, graphics, animations isn't productive toward that purpose.

Sadler, it's not that a question was asked, it was how it was asked and what was expected, a 'freebie'. I asked a question (along with some others), 'How can we help you help yourself?', of BMXboy at the bottom of one of my posts earlier in this thread and am still waiting for an adequate reply other than 'im in a hurry' and 'i really need this fast'.

Here are a few links from some who have asked better questions, wanted to learn, and wanted to do the work themselves (with some help and encouragement from TG members). I think they all worked through putting their own spin on their favorite logos & graphics, quite nicely.

Here's links to the two threads by simsmj that got me through making my first spinning thing with X3D. Mike deserves my thanks, and probably that of many others, for the excellent tutorials and the inspiration he provides by making all kinds of seemingly impossible things spin, move and gyrate using XX and X3D. Thanks Mike!

We're more than willing to help BMXboy make the Duke Nukem Radiation symbol spin if he's willing to take the time to learn.

Give a person a 3D spinny graphic and you'll have a dozen other people line up for you to make a free spinny thing for each of them. Teach a person to make his own 3D spinny graphic and you can go back to creating your own graphics and 3D spinny things.
