    Default photo drag and drop

i have a photo on a page of a website but want to reuse it and drop it into a frame from the design gallery on another page no problem to drag and drop the same image form an external file (the same image same name) but can you select the prevoious image in the site and drop it in to the fram e- can't seem to work how to do it....i am assuming if its possible - to reuse images it saves page download speed? if no difference then I will just drag and drop.

    thanks

    Hi Scruffy,

I just tested this and you can use a placeholder to import your grapich file on several pages and this will only save it once into the index_htm_files folder.

    To do this...
Draw a rectangle (or any shape really) the size that you want your photo to be.
Press Ctrl+Shift+w to bring up the website properties
    Go to the Placeholder tab
Click on the browse button under 'replace with graphic file'
Select the file that you want the placeholder to have in it.
    Click Open
    Click Apply
    Click OK

I hope that helps you out.
    Eric

To retain the WYSIWYG edit view, you can use the actual image as the placeholder for itself, (this does not mean WD will export a second copy).
This is visually better while designing your page than blank placeholders.
