    Default Cross and the Lance

OK, hear is the finished concept I was thinking of with the helmet, shield and spear. I hope you like it. Any comments or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks gray, I didn't even think of the shadows, my mind must be wandering. As Pooh says, think, think, think

I was going to start the F4F next but something else came up. I can't decide to do a F4F or start with something with straiter lines to begin with like the F-22 Raptor. Decisions, decisions.

    Great work Ontos.
The rocks came up very well. Good cross image too.
Gray's suggestion of shadows is a good one. I always forget to use them too.

Thank you Rupert and Javier for your kind comments. I hope to get the shadows in today, I just have to figure how I'm going to do it. I am really enjoying Xara, and learning so much.

The F4F is a difficult one to do for perspective. Should be fun to do though.

I tried to add some shadows, I'm not sure if you could tell. Am I doing something wrong, the shadow will only go to the right, I can't get it to go to the left I may need some help with this shadow thing

Once you decide where the light source is just draw the shadows in black ontos, then use transparency to get the right amount of light. That way you can put them wherever you want them.

Thanks gray, I was using the shadow tool. Next time I'll draw them in. Cheers
