Hello: Is there such a thing as a different "skin" or "theme" color for the WD6 APPLICATION itself?
I don't particularly care for staring at charcoal gray while I'm working.

No, nothing official, though there is a registry hack or key combination which will disable the new dark colour.
Please use the forum search as this has been brought up a number of times.
