position en size problems

I have problems with the position and size selection
When i want to make the siees and the positions of elements axact it changes al the time
first a put the figures in the the x y positione when i want to chanches the size the position chanches, when i corect the position then the size changes
in the artworks period i hadn't this problem wat do i wrong ....

You can do two things.

1°- Adjust the size and then position the shape to x,y 0,0
2°- Place the shape where you want and drag using the selector tool drag the oposite corner until you reach the size you want see picture 2.

Note: If you want to place the shape over a page corner you can align it using the aligment tool (ctrl+shift+l) and then select the options as shown in the picture 1 I'm attaching.
Maybe there is another easy way, I just know those!!!!
