Duplicating mouseover buttons

I have mouseover menu buttons (when hovered on with mouse display drop down menus) on the home page of my website which I want to be duplicated to every page of the website. But when I duplicate the top section of the home page including the menu bar, the menu bar does indeed appear on every page, but the drop dpwn menus don't. Any ideas why not? And how can I make them appear on each page? Thanks

Make sure that all layers are visible before copying your menu. Also, if your menu is global, see Help >> Object Handling >> Repeating Objects in the Help file.
