A text written with Verdana font and exported for web site is perfect looking if I use Internet Explorer.
With Opera it looks different and not clean.. same with Chrome.
Did anybody come across this problem?

Slight rendering differences are possible between other browsers font rendering engine, but nothing significant.
But as you have not supplied a screenshot of what you see or your .web file, we can only guess.
Please attach your file or something we can actually go on thanks
You probably have text antialiasing disabled in the system so you don't have it in IE. Right?

Yes you have disabled font antialiasing (ClearType).

Thank you, I went to http://www.microsoft.com/typography/...ner/Step1.aspx and turned it ON. It works fine.
Do you know if this is automatically enabled in Vista and Win7?
Just found answer:
If you install Windows yourself, ClearType will be turned on by default on Windows 7 and Windows Vista and turned off by default on Windows XP.
