That's a good idea. If I ever truly need that kind of precision, it would be possible to create a rectangle of 100 pixels place the colors exactly where required then paste the attributes (fill in this case) into the target object.

I believe the tutorial you have been using was written for Corel Draw in 1997 time frame.
