[tweaks] The tweakset for XWD 6

I do not want to post the file or the site for all to see.

however this may clear up things a little...

When i open the xxp5 file that has 2 instances of the scrolling divs in WD6 - the following ifs happens:

1. if the Layer where the scroll is implemented is:
Closed then Viewed/exported -- (the contents within that scroll is not visible.)

2. if the layer where the scroll is implemented is:
Open then it can be viewed/saved/exported -- (all is well)


For your information...

for each Div Scroll i have the closing dive on same layer -


in other words...
one layer holds the first scroll div and closing divs
the other layer has the second scroll div and closing divs



I know it may be too much to test it out just for me, but this is very a very important part of my page.

You are probably missing one thing.
WD6 does not export hidden static layers. So if the layer is static (not a pop-up layer) and it's visibility is turned off in the Objects Gallery, WD6 will not export it and it's content. Unlike X5 which was exporting all layers as visible.
You can force the invisible static layer to be exported in WD6 by appending the exclamation mark at the beginning of the layer's name. For example: "!My Hidden Layer"

Also, a ? regarding XaReg to Gary/Steve. Since my learning curve resembles a straight line can you be more specific about how to move "Tweakset" to the top of the design gallery line order with XaReg?

Hi XLogic,

In XaReg select Web Designer 6 then click the Tools menu.

In the Tools menu select Design/Clipart Gallery.

In the Design/Clipart Gallery dialog select the Tweat Set and then use the Move to Row controls. Select Row 1 from the dropdown options then click the Do IT! button. Then click the Write List button to update the Registry with the new order of the list.

Click the attached thumbnail images to see larger versions of the images.

I have probably done something wrong, but damned if I know where.

I download the zip file for the tweakset xdw6 . Unzipped it, did exactly as stated in the Read me note but nothing in the folder in designer gallery!
Please see attached screen shot.

You have added the folder where you had extracted the archive. While you should add the "XWD 6 Tweaks" folders that is placed in it. To add that folder you have to open it and only then click on the Add button in the dialog.

what threw me was adding tweakset, you don't 'ADD' tweakset you add 'tweakset info' folder thats inside tweakset !!
