Question XXP5 - Non Optimized JPG

Looking for techniques to keep XXP5 from OVERWRITING files that I have already optimized.

How to keep XXP5 from overwriting optimized web files?
Here is what I'm currently doing:
    1) save all optimized files in a different folder
    2) save the website (XXP5 will overwrite all files)
    3) drag all optimized files back into the webste to replace the ones XaraXtreme Pro 5 just bloated.

If anyone has a better way, please post.

Use image placeholders for your optimized images and you won't need too worry about them any more.

Heeeeyyyy! that sounds good, thank you!

I am mostly wanting to optimize an image for a large background.
