Help needed with a tutorial

Hi All.

I was busy trying to follow a tutorial and the link is below:-

I was doing OK till I got to just past half way down the page where it got a bit fuzzy!

The instructions say:-

Select the inside part of the ampersand then click the New Name yellow tag icon on the Infobar.

The problem is that I cannot find the 'New Name' yellow tag icon in Xara Pro 5.

Can someone plese tell me why I cannot seem to find this?
It's probably dead easy for you professionals but I am having real problems here.

Should be on the info bar by default, to the right of scale line widths icon, if not go to Window >> Control Bars ... and add the button.

Thanks for your prompt replies guys.

But, firstly (only a small point) you can see that the lable (when you rest your mouse on it) does not say 'New Name'.

Secondly, when I did click on it (before posting anything) there is no 'OK' option to click on, as per the instruction.

The attached picture shows that there is no 'OK' option.

I say this with all due respect but when you are a beginner then things like this trip up users like me.

So, if a kind person could write some 'idiot's instructions' from that part onwards, it will definitely help me.

Rik,

After typing in your objects name click on the 'Add' button, then click on the 'Close' button. That should do it for you. At least it works for me.

Whilst you were giving the answer, I was busy trying ot see if I could work it out.

I did just as you say. I clicked on the 'Add' button and carried on with the rest of the instructions.

Here is my result when I saved as 'Export Animated Flash'
