Default Nav bar and now links

    hi

replaced the nav bars with different theme and now seem to be working
can some one check moving briskly from one to another to agree

but now text links seem not to be working (e.g page 3march10 'nutritional') and can't make a link from the 'table' on page4march10 work to an external site all looks good to me but in preview does not create a 'hand' to click it.

can any one help me with these bugs and critique site/newsletters while you are there

    thanks

    Hi Scruffy

OK the site looks great very nice and cleand and easy to follow a few observations for you:

1/ SERIOUS: You have applied a shadow to ALL your text, although this gives it depth and makes it look nice from a search engine point of view this is terrible, b rowser only render fonts and text with no "Hocus pocs" applied, so to get round this WD exports ALL of the affected text as an image, as it is now when a search engine spider visits your site it is going to see a huge amount of images none of which it can read ie your site is going to have no-existant search engine indexing and rankings.

Lose the shadow on any "content" text straight away.

2/ Dont know if you have designed it this way but there are no mouseovers on anything, that is fine just wanted you to kn ow i case you intended to have mouse overs.

Still looking so will re-post anything else I see.

    Chris

    PS:

Your enternal link problem may be down to the fact you are trying to link to text but obviously there is NO text until you remove the shadowing

    Hi

Might have been helpful if I told you how to remove the shadow

Select your text areas then select he shadow tool in the navbar select the very first "square" (see attachment below) this will remove the shadowing for you.

    Hope that helps

    Chris

    EDIT

The link of page 3 you have it linked internally to page 4 is this correct?

    EDIT EDIT

Removing the shadowing from the text block on page 4 makes the link work
