Repeating objects on the one page

Is there a way to have an object that repeats on the same page just as you can have a repeating object that updates on all pages?

I am trying to have a graphic with text that repeats on one page, that when I change the text on one object that I can update it on all, rather that correcting it multiple time.

I just copy the object from one page to the next and paste in place.
Simple and safe.

I believe Peter is refering to repeating instances (aka components) so that if one changes all change irregardless if they are on the same page or not.

The answer, for now anyway, is no.

However, as someone else mentioned in another post, as a workaround you could make a high-res bitmap copy of the vector artwork and import that and place copies of it throughout your drawing.

Then if it is modified in the future, you could re-import the new bitmap and drag it from the Bitmap Gallery onto an instant and all instances of the bitmap can be updated.

Grace makes an interesting suggestion to make this happen, I havent tried it myself yet but is worth a shot
