    Default Sitting pretty

    Howdy folks,

Here's a shot of a female ruby-throated hummingbird. She didn't want to sit still so it took awhile to get the right shot. Thank goodness for digital cameras is all I can say, it's nice to know you can take as many pictures as needed and discard the ones that don't work.

Taken with a DMC-FZ7, Optical zoom, standard lens, F3.3, 1/60Sec, natural light.

Neat shot Mark. That 12x optical zoom is great for this type of light capture.

    Default American White Pelicans

Took this one at the local wetlands. Had to do the low crawl for several hundred yards to get this shot. Guess that military training did come in handy, LOL.

    Default Cedar Waxwing

This little guy was sitting in my driveway. It was very cold and he allowed me to get very close before he took flight.
