XP5 and Flash: question

So far I have done very little with Xara flash tools, From reading the help file though, I gather that one is limited basically to 6 core transforms. What about 'movies' -- intros etc that are more complex: fade-ins, replacing one image with another and so on, the whizzy stuff. I'm not big on these, intros which load and then run, usually with the option to skip the intro, but I may be forced to dig into it. Am I right in thinking that this sort of thing is beyond Xara? If so, what alternatives are there, short of $700.00 for the Adobe toolset?

As usual, grateful for any help and advice.

Xtreme isn't a tool to replace flash. Xtreme does a little bit of flash. It's great if you're a designer and want to make flash things with little effort, but if you want to do things in flash a dedicated tool will be better, though more effort may be required.

In terms of fading, image replacement intros - in the right hands the dedicated flash tool will beat Xtreme hands-down, in terms of control, time and reduced file size.

I'll have to get the electronic pen (in my case a mouse) and give it a whirl....I have an idea already how I can utilize this. Thanks for the video....it's amazing the things a person learns just from reading and applying what's read.

WOW seriously impressed, I am a complete NOOB when it comes to flash and even I just knocked up the rectangle and star animation and got it working great in seconds literally, Xtreme Pro 5 just keeps getting better and better
