MenuMaker Updating

New to the forum but have been using MM for several years now. At one time I could update a navbar in MM and then go to FP , delete one MM navbar and and insert the updated one and it would change all the bars on the site. I can't seem to make that work anymore.
Can anyone please help me out with this so I won't have to change the bars on all the pages?
