Grid and ruler spacing in options

It would be so nice to have a drop down option for Grid and ruler spacing in options menu. So that i would not have to figure all that myself. Also if it was linked somehow to the units menu in the options it would automatically adjust.

What do you think?

Hopefully i did not confuse anyone, So lets say I select inches for measurement, then I have to input either 8 or 16th of an inch. Same with cm, and other measurements. An automated selection would be best.

I would go for that! Even using keyboard shortcuts it takes too much time in the page options to get the right units and then you have to go into the grid. For years & years I never bothered about using templates till I found myself spending more time in the page options nearly than I was drawing as most of the stuff was for print with larger pages sizes to allow for bleed etc..
