Hello everyone!

I know this has been brought up before, but I am having some problems.

I have a logo that I opened into Xara X. I am trying to make it into a 3D logo in Xara 3D.

I tried tracing it using the Bitmap Tracer of Xara X, and then saving it as a .xar file.

But I still get only a framed box when I open it in Xara 3D.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Hi Mike,

The simplest way to recreate a logo as a vector object is to draw it using XaraX. The bitmap tracer creates many objects, which combine to make a rectangle the size of the original image being traced. Also different values in the image become different shapes in the trace. If you really want to use the trace, I'd suggest ungrouping all the objects and then start deleting as many as possible while keeping those that make a convencing logo.
