    Question Brush Problem

Hi there everyone, I have attached an image of an ornament that has a solid background, when I save it as a brush you will see that it looks totally different. You can see the difference between the two images of what I mean.
I have not used any transparency effects only a circle with a gradient ciruclar fill.

If there is anyone that can throw some light on this for me I would appreciate it. I successfully exported such items as brushes in the past and had no problem.

    Thanks for the help.

    Kind regards

    Barry

    Hi Barry

does it have to be vector?

if you make a bitmap copy and create a brush from that it will work - you will need to take out tile fills in the brush fill properties tab

oh no, genius I aint - hyperbole methinks - but thanks - glad to help

when you use bitmaps for brushes you have to bear resolution in mind - so if you are intending to use the brush at different sizes it may be best to create a brush for each size, rather than draw the line and resize afterwards...
